Ok then, been a while since I've done one of these. Again, due to my ever changing tastes and knowledge about the art and science of all things guitar I give you the axes I wish to own this time in the order in which I will be buying them. The ones on the left are the ones I am guaranteed to get if I don't already have it and the ones on the right are those that I will get when I win the lotto.

Epiphone G-400 Alpine White "Tsukiyo"
[My first, my favorite. Burstbucker 2 in the neck, Burstbucker 3 in the bridge. So much clarity, so much depth. Fan. Ta. Stick.]

Epiphone Casino Cherry Red "Kusenagi"
[The perfect dorm guitar; electric during the day, acoustic by night. Even though I don't dorm the dynamic is still not lost when my family is trying to sleep and I'm trying to rock. And the P90s are pretty kick ass too.]

Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special Candy Apple Red "Tsurugi"
[While everybody and their mothers are playing Strats and Teles I'll be playing one of these bad boys. Hotter, brighter, cleaner, better, that's the Jag. Were it not for the ridiculous pickup selectors and faulty bridge I probably wouldn't be one of the few who believes this. Then again the classic player special fixes the bridge problem. I'd love to get it in Olympic White but I think they only offer the HH version, which I'm not a fan of, in that color.]

Dean Boca 12 String Cherry Sunburst "{Undecided}"
[Being the 60's rock/REM fan that I am, I've been jonesing for an electric twelve string for quite some time now. I've done a fair amount of research on an affordable yet quality one and this takes the cake. Clear bright and jangly, what's not to love?]

Gretsch G5122 Electromatic Hollowbody Double Cutaway Walnut Stain "Tex"
[If the Casino and electric twelve strings didn't tip you off before, a double cutaway Gretsch should. I <3 The Beatles. Specifically George. He was the man. The G5122 is basically a stripped down, beginner version of his 1962 Country Gentleman so I'll take it. I need a guitar with twang spank and grit and, truth be told, I'm not a Telecaster guy so this will more than do. I could probably buy this now, but the Jag and Boca are significantly higher on my "To Get" list so I figure by the time I do get it, inflation and other economic factors will have made it a lot more expensive.]

PRS Mira Wild Mint "Baby"
[This is probably the only guitar over a thousand dollars that I would pay for without winning the lotto just because it's everything I could ever want in a stock guitar. It's basically an SG that traded its individual volume and tone pots for coil taps. I can live with that, especially since I couldn't get that on my real SG. Would really like to get it in Alpine White with gold hardware and a vibrato, which I've seen, but it adds over an extra $500 to the tag. I could get another G-400 AND a Boca for that....before tax of course.]

Rickenbacker 360/12 Fireglo "Brigit"
[See this is where the whole George Harrison obsession comes to a head. If I ever got one of these bad boys I'd die and ask to be buried with it. Some say that that would be a waste, I say "How else am I going to play it in the afterlife?" On that note, you think George will give me lessons up in heaven?]

PRS Private Stock Santana II "The Boss"
[This truly is the only guitar that I can't get without winning the lotto. I can save up for a Mira and get by the time I finish getting my Masters. I can then save up for the Rick for when I hit my mid life crisis. There's not a snowball's chance in hell that I could save up enough for this holy grail. Ebony fretboard with a Brazilian rosewood neck glued-in to a Korina body with a swamp ash top combined with two coil tapable Alnico V humbuckers with a P90 in the middle and a 5 way switch with a master volume and individual tone knobs. With gold hardware, including the vibrato and opal 513 frets hw can this thing be anything bu boss?"
